Toddy arrived at our sanctuary on the edge of survival — skin and bones, completely defeated. Today his eyes are bright, his tail never stops wagging, and he finally knows what it feels like to be safe.
His Story
On November 20, 2023, Toddy arrived in critical condition — nothing but skin and bones, weak, and completely defeated. He had belonged to a neighbor who locked him in a kennel after he was attacked by other dogs. Rather than getting him medical help, they simply left him there to suffer alone.
Thanks to compassionate people like you, Toddy's story didn't end there. He is living proof of what love, care, and a second chance can do. Unfortunately, Toddy requires lifelong treatment for leishmaniasis — a chronic disease that needs daily medication and consistent veterinary attention.
