Judite's life began in darkness — locked away, starving, and forgotten. A single cry for help changed everything. Today she's a curious, playful soul who loves her brother and napping in the sun.
Her Story
Judite and her family — her mother Pepita and three siblings — had been locked inside a room on a neighboring property with no food or water. It was only when one of the puppies became trapped in a gate and cried out that our team heard them. One staff member jumped the fence and discovered the entire family starving and dehydrated, hidden away and forgotten.
Their owner had zero interest in them, so we rescued the whole family. That one cry saved them all. Today Judite lives at our sanctuary alongside her brother Paçoca and their mom, Pepita — a joyful, curious dog who has never known anything but kindness since the day we found her.
