Ibis was thrown from a moving car in front of a hotel. Left alone on the pavement, injured and terrified, he waited. We were there. And we were never going to leave him behind.
His Story
In June 2024, Ibis was thrown out of a car window in front of the hotel where our team was staying in Ceará. Witnesses watched it happen and were horrified. We rushed to him immediately.
Despite the trauma of that moment, Ibis has blossomed into a confident, affectionate cat at our sanctuary. He loves attention, explores every corner of his space, and has charmed everyone who meets him. His past does not define him — his future does.
