On a rainy March afternoon, Carolina sat starving outside a roadside restaurant, too weak to move. We stopped. We saw her. We weren't going to drive away.
Her Story
On March 3, 2023, while having lunch at a roadside restaurant, we noticed a thin, weary dog standing in the pouring rain outside. She was too weak to come inside but too desperate to leave. Every person who walked past her did just that — walked past.
We brought her food. We stayed with her. And then we brought her with us. Carolina came into our care malnourished and exhausted, but her spirit was intact. Today she is healthy, happy, and glowing with the confidence of a dog who finally knows she is valued.
