On November 20th, 2023, Toddy arrived at our sanctuary in critical condition — nothing but skin and bones, weak, and completely defeated.
He had belonged to a neighbor who locked him away in a kennel after he was attacked by other dogs. Instead of getting medical help, he was simply left to suffer alone.

Unfortunately, Toddy will need lifelong treatment for leishmaniasis, a chronic disease that requires daily medication and consistent veterinary care.
